We provide a bespoke laser-cutting and model-making service.
As all of our laser-cut and 3D printed products are made here in our workshop, we can make changes to any of our standard items. If you need something in a different scale, the design to be tweaked in any way, or made from a different material, it can easily be done.
If there’s anything you need to be made from scratch, we’d be delighted to help, whether you just need a single window or a full set of station buildings. We can laser-cut individual components, design a kit of parts for you to build, or fully complete the model for you.
We offer a full design service, but you can provide your own drawings if you prefer. Please take a look at our information sheets for advice on providing suitable drawings, and the different materials we can laser-cut.
We are not limited to railway parts; we offer our laser-cutting service to all individuals and also other businesses, and provide our model-making services to architects and museums.
If you would like to know more, would like advice on the best materials for your project, or would like us to quote, please get in touch.
Our largest laser beds are 900 x 600mm. Depending on the material we can cut up to 8mm thick, but can engrave onto the surface of deeper items. Most commonly we laser-cut acrylic, wood, card, Rowmark Plastic and stencil materials. We don’t cut PVC, Styrene (plasticard) or anything else that creates toxic fumes when cut, or metals, glass and stone (anything that won’t burn).
These are just a few examples of models incorporating our bespoke model parts; many more examples can be seen on our blog page. We hope these give you inspiration and an idea of what can be achieved. As you’ll see we love a challenge, and look forward to being able to help you with any ideas you have.
